Believe it or not, you've just graduated from high school and you’re at a great point in your life. You have your whole life in front of you. And now is a good time to start thinking about your future. This community provides career advice for recent high school grads including exploring career options, investigating career choices, and how to prepare for careers of interest. Do you go onto college and attain a degree? But is it a 2 or 4 year program or should I attend trade school. These are just a few topics that will be addressed.
About the editor:Ellen Gray is an applied research psychologist and communications professional, fascinated by the power of media to educate and inspire. For the past 25 years as President of Gray Matters Communications, she has used her insights and expertise in understanding audiences and trends through social research to create meaningful and effective communication for a variety of businesses, professionals, educational institutions, non-profits, and creative artists. Ellen’s corporate experience includes working in Social Research and Broadcast Standards at ABC Television Network, in Marketing and Advertising Research at Universal Pictures, and in Children’s Books at Random House. She earned an M.A. and completed coursework for the PhD in Psychology and Education at the University of Michigan, and received a B.A. in Psychology from Brooklyn College of CUNY. Ellen is the proud mother of a recent college graduate, and she is passionate about guiding other young people towards their own success.
